Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms

Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home. However, PLEASE NOTE they can provide sick lines if necessary following the 7 day self certification period.

Read our advice about staying at home. (Ctrl + click to follow this link)

Urgent advice: Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service if:

  • you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
  • your condition gets worse
  • your symptoms do not get better after 7 days

Use the 111 coronavirus service (Ctrl + click on this link to follow this online service)

Only call 111 if you cannot get help online

As you will be aware Covid 19 is still very much with us and will be for the foreseeable future. We would like to reassure you that we are providing most services to our patients. We do however have to ensure your safety and ours and to be able to do this we ask that you ring in first. This can be done from 8.30am onwards each morning. PLEASE ring as early as possible that morning as once capacity is reached we will only be able to deal with urgent requests for the remainder of the day and you will be asked to ring back at another time. The GPs will be doing ALL consultations by telephone until further notice and you will ONLY be asked to attend if absolutely necessary . Practice receptionists will take a brief history of the problem that you are calling about so that they can divert you to the most suitable member of the team to help you with that problem. All information is treated confidentially. Please be patient while we navigate you safely through these uncertain times. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please see our online NOTICE BOARD on the left hand side of this page for a link to updated information regarding Coronavirus.
